A man who claimed he had a bomb in his house in Dartford has been charged.
Ian Hendrie, 55, allegedly claimed he had a bomb in is home in Coleridge Road on October 20.
Mr Hendrie was charged with communicating false information about a bomb, which is a criminal offence under the Criminal Law Act 1977.
He has also been charged with five counts of assaults against police officers and one count of criminal damage to a custody cell.
Mr Hendrie as been remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates on Monday, October 23.
