A man allegedly threatened to stab a man in his 70s if he did not give up his money in an alleyway in Swanley.

The victim did not see a knife, and refused to give anything to the group of four men when they approached him between Homefield Close and Birchwood Park Avenue at about 5pm on Wednesday, October 4.

After the victim threatened to call the police, the group fled back towards Birchwood Park Avenue.

Kent Police is investigating the reports, and asks anyone with information to come forward.

The suspect who spoke to the victim is described as tanned, aged 23 to 24, 6ft 2in tall, of stocky build and wearing a blue anorak and blue jeans.

The three others are described as white and wearing brown clothing.
