A man who was chased by police from Dartford to Crayford sat on top of a church and refused to come down during a five-hour stand-off.
Police tried to stop a BMW in Crayford Way, Dartford at about 4.50am on Saturday (September 30).
A chase led to Crayford High Street, where police said the man got out the car and climbed on top of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
Officers from the Met and Kent Police worked with negotiators to get the man down.
The man, who is 22, eventually climbed down at about 9.50am.
Police arrested him on suspicion of failing to stop, criminal damage and assault.
He has since been released under investigation.
