Job seekers will be able to apply for thousands of roles including management positions at Bluewater Shopping Centre this weekend.

Bluewater will be hosting the sixth consecutive jobs fair advertising 2,100 positions on Thursday 14 and Friday 15 September.

300 jobs across leisure and hospitality will be offered on the first day and another 1,800 positions in retail will be advertised on the second day.

Over 60 management positions will also be available and vacancies will be advertised by JD Sports, John Lewis, House of Fraser and Giraffe.

Gareth Johnson, MP for Dartford, said on the jobs fair: “I am delighted to be part of The Bluewater Jobs Fair, now in its sixth year. The Fair is a key employment initiative in matching hopeful candidates with positions at Bluewater, and each year the event goes from strength to strength. The variety of jobs available continues to grow, which creates an even more diverse range of opportunities for local people.

"The number of people who have benefited since the Fair’s inception is a testament to the great work by the team at The Learning Shop and Bluewater. I would like to wish all the hopeful candidates the very best of luck when applying for positions.”

Mr Johnson and Dartford Mayor Rosanna Currans will be visiting the fair on Friday with Robert Goodman, Bluewater's general manager.

Mr Goodman said: "“It is great to be hosting Bluewater’s Jobs Fair for its sixth consecutive year, and to have such a variety of jobs on offer. We look forward to welcoming candidates to the fair, which, for the first time, takes place over two days this year."

The fair has matched 7.050 candidates to jobs at Bluewater since it started.
