A group of teenagers was reportedly attacked in Gravesend by thugs demanding their mobile phones.

The victims, a boy and two girls, were walking in an alley from Thames Way in the direction of the Overcliffe near a car dealership between 8.25pm and 8.35pm last Friday, September 1.

Two people from a group in the alley allegedly approached the teenagers, telling them to give them their phones.

The male victim was reportedly hit on the head with a bottle, and the girls were pushed to the ground before the suspects fled.

Police are investigating this as an attempted robbery, and are appealing for information.

The two suspects have been described as white and wearing dark coloured clothing including gloves and balaclavas.

Two other people who were reported to have been with the suspects are also described as white, and a third person was described as mixed race.
