Darent Valley Hospital has issued a plea online for toy donations for the children's A&E department.
Heather Knibb, Paediatric Sister in the children's emergency department, said they are seeking items for the play kitchens in the children's waiting room.
Play food, pots and pans and a shopping trolley or basket are all on the hospitals wishlist, as well as smaller items for a treasure chest such as little cars, stationary and medals.
The hospital are not looking for soft toys or items with small pieces.
The toys are given to children as a reward after a stressful procedure, or to distract a child when needed.
Staff have bought items themselves in the past but are now asking anyone who can donate to take or send items directly to the children's A&E department at Darent Valley Hospital, Darenth Wood Road, Dartford.
