A Lamborghini supercar has gone missing in London after the car rental company’s GPS tracker on the car went dead.

The black Lamborghini Huracán Spyder was rented out from a Swiss company Scheiwiller Automotive Luxury Car Rental by a woman with an Irish passport.

From there the company was able to track the car using the in-built GPS as it drove from Switzerland up to London.

The driver crossed the M25 at Swanley, through Sidcup and Lee, crossed the river by Battersea, before reaching Kensington and Knightbridge area.

At this point the GPS tracker stopped and the company have no idea where the £200,000 car has gone and now they believe the ID they were shown was fake.

The woman had agreed with the company to drive it to Strasbourg for a meeting then back to Zurich but that clearly didn’t happen as the car travelled up in the direction of Calais instead.

The woman did leave a deposit of 2,500 Swiss francs, barely more than £2,000.

The company have now appealed on Facebook, offering a reward of 5,000 francs (a little over £4,000) to anyone who can help them find the supercar.

Photos of the car across London have been sent to the company and Swiss police are involved but as of yet they have been unable to get the car back.
