An uninsured Swanley motorist has been banned for more than four years and given a suspended prison sentence after he was caught more than three times over the drink-drive limit.
Roy Gourlay, 29, pleaded guilty at Medway Magistrates' Court to driving without insurance drink driving after he provided a breath test of 108 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
Gourlay, of Willow Avenue, drove a Citreron Picasso in Knockhall Chase, Greenhithe with no insurance.
Magistrates sentenced Gourlay to 108 days in prison, suspended for two years, banned him from driving for 52 months and ordered him to pay £85 costs and a £140 victim surcharge.
