Shopping can be a nightmare but nothing compared to a new escape room coming to Bluewater this weekend.

Trapped Down South is a horror escape room set up to recreate horror films for shoppers to experience.

Escapees will have to solve puzzles and find clues in order to avoid being ‘trapped’.

Horror expert and director of House of the Dead, Richard Cottier said: “I’m immensely proud of the achievements that I and the team made with House of the Dead and Trapped.

“Escape rooms have become incredibly popular in recent years, but we can promise an experience like no other.

MOREApproval given for major Bluewater expansion

“Trapped Down South is not for the fainthearted and we bring a wealth of experience in horror attractions to terrify anybody brave enough to take part."

The escape room allows for groups of six to go up against the clock in a choice of two rooms – Jigsaw or Cabin Fever.

Jigsaw is a makeshift torture chamber in the world of a prolific serial killer who has escaped prison, and you have one hour in the room to escape him.

The second room, Cabin Fever, sees participants go on a journey through cabin belonging to “bloodthirsty locals” to find their kidnapped captive friend – the only one with the keys to leave.

Trapped is only available for those aged 12 and over.
