A Swanley animal sanctuary rescued four ponies who had been abandoned and neglected.
Volunteers at the Second Chance Animal Sanctuary in Crockenhill saved the ponies from the barn, where they had no food or water and was "full of faeces".
They were taken to the vets and put on antibiotics. One of the ponies had pnuemonia.
Daisy Hall, a trustee at the charity, said: "We found four young ponies who had been abandoned, basically skin and bone.
"Somebody contacted us and said they had found them just in this old barn, it was really bad and full of muck.
"One of them couldn't even stand to go on the trailer. They have all their bones just sticking out.
"They're probably about one year old, they have just had no food, no water. It is just shocking that it happens."
She added: "All four are severely malnourished and have been given antibiotics, one has severe pneumonia and as you will see in the video didn't even have the strength to stand.
"We had to lift him with a harness to get him into the stable."
