Sheppard has been remanded in custody and will appear at Maidstone Crown Court on October 7.
A man has been charged in connection to a robbery in Dartford where a shopkeeper was "assaulted".
The incident happened at a shop in St Vincent’s Road near the junction with Bow Arrow Lane last Thursday.
Dean Sheppard, 36, of St Edmund’s Road, Dartford, has been charged with robbery and possession of a knife.
He is also accused of attempting to rob a store in Colney Road, Dartford, on September 4, while in possession of a knife once again.
Sheppard has been remanded in custody and will appear at Maidstone Crown Court on October 7.
