Southeastern trains between Slade Green and Charlton have been cancelled due to a “track defect” at Belvedere.
Signalling problems are the cause of such delays.
Some trains are being diverted via Bexleyheath which is expected to continue until 8.30am.
Tickets are being accepted on local bus routes.
Services between Dartford and Plumstead have also been cancelled or diverted due to a broken down train at Belvedere.
Tickets are being accepted on the DLR, London Underground and local bus services.
Trains through Lewisham were also cancelled due a vehicle smashed into a bridge in Brockley.
Trains between Swanley and Otford started running again at around 10am.
