Thunder storms are expected to hit south-east London and north Kent today, according to the Met Office.
Any early mist or fog patches will clear quickly, with showers soon developing once again, becoming widespread and heavy, with scattered thunderstorms giving the potential for localised torrential downpours.
The maximum temperature will be 19 °C.
Tonight heavy and perhaps thundery showers will gradually die away, with most places becoming dry with clear spells.
Saturday will be mostly dry start with some bright spells, but scattered showers will develop through the day.
These will be much lighter than recent days and will ease through the evening. The maximum temperature will be 18 °C.
On Sunday scattered showers will still be possible, but there will also be some sunny intervals.
