Tonight isn't a whole lot better - cloudy skies with outbreaks of rain or drizzle and it's likely to become heavier later in the night.
There'll be brisk or strong southwesterly winds, becoming near gale conditions along coasts towards dawn, with a low temperature of 9°C.
