Firefighters freed a man who was trapped in his car following a smash on the A2 at Dartford.
Two cars crashed on the London-bound A2 between Dartford Heath and the Black Prince Interchange at around 6.30pm on Friday (November 27), causing major delays for motorists.
Fire crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to release the trapped man, and police also attended.
Met Police Special Constables tweeted: “Off Duty @MPSSpecials and other on duty specials assisted at earlier RTC A2 near Dartford.
“Everyone safe and well.”
The road was blocked for over an hour after the collision, reopening at around 7.40pm.
Traffic also built up on the opposite carriageway due to motorists slowing down to look at the crash scene.
Drivers experienced further delays due to another crash on the A2 East Rochester Way westbound in Bexleyheath at the Danson Interchange.
