Medals, rosettes and kisses have been awarded to Good Luck Charm, a racehorse galloping to success all over the country.

Part owner, Shelley Bennett, of Phoenix Place, told News Shopper about the joy the six-year-old horse, Good Luck Charm, has brought to her life.

The 57-year-old is part of a syndicate that owns the four-time-winning thoroughbred.

Ms Bennett said: “I’ve loved horses since I was a child and I absolutely love Good Luck Charm.

“At the race courses they call me the crying lady because I get so excited.

“You can’t put a price on it - it’s very addictive.

“I’ve always wanted to become an owner you see.

“It’s a great day out and you get to meet like minded people.

“We’re like a family.”

From 2012, the six year old, Good Luck Charm, has been winning races in Brighton, Kempton and Goodwood, much to the delight of his owner.

Since winning in Brighton last month the thoroughbred has been training and relaxing at his livery in Lower Beeding near Horsham.
