Smooth moves and sweet grooves were on show at The Mick Jagger Centre (MJC) to celebrate the completion of building works at Dartford Grammar School.

Art centre manager Nicola Bowden said: “It went so well.
“Everybody’s eyes were open to the diversity of the centre.
“The celebration really raised awareness of the place and what we do here.
“I know that everybody who came benefited from the day.
“People were truly amazed and so surprised because it’s a great place on a lot of people’s doorsteps.”
She added: “Chris Jagger was fantastic, there was a lot of dancing which was great.”
The arts centre currently hosts 25 regular community groups every month including the Dartford Symphony Orchestra and Kav Kavanaugh’s Rock ‘n’ Roll dance school, Dartford Parkinsons Society, and the Kent Wildlife Trust.
Children from as young as 3 right through to their 80's use the centre
The Open Day took place September 26 and was free to attend.
Rumours are already circulating that the centre plans to hold another celebration in the near future.
