Blue skies and sunshine are set to remain in south east London and north Kent for the rest of the week.

According to the Met Office, today (September 30) will be another dry day with long spells of sunshine.

It will be quite breezy, with a maximum temperature of 17 °C.

Tonight it will stay dry, with long clear periods for much of the night and an easterly breeze continuing.

Temperatures will dip into single figures, with a minimum temperature of 8 °C.

The dry and sunny weather continues into Thursday, with little or no cloud, while winds will be lighter than Wednesday so it should generally feel warmer.

And for Friday to Sunday, the fine weather continues with some sunshine and variable cloud.

There will be chilly nights and some early morning fog, and the risk of some showery rain will increase as the week draws to a close.
