A man from Greenhithe who assaulted a police officer after being caught with class A drugs has been jailed.
On August 15, Neil Blackwell was arrested after being found in possession of cocaine in Rochester High Street.
Later the same day the 26-year-old, of London Road, assaulted a police officer whilst at Medway Police Station.
Blackwell pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer and possession of cocaine.

He was sentenced to 90 days in jail at Medway Magistrates' Court last Tuesday (September 22).
Blackwell must pay £100 compensation, a £180 criminal court charge, £85 court costs, and an £80 victim surcharge.
