A Meopham man who fractured a friend’s cheekbones after being asked to leave his home has been jailed for 15 months.
Dee Webb, 45, of White Post Lane, shared a number of drinks with the victim and another friend before carrying out the attack on May 23 last year.

Webb was asked to leave the man’s Gravesend home after getting into a fight with the other guest, but knocked him to the ground as he attempted to close the garden gate on him.
He then punched him in the face several times, fracturing both cheekbones.
Following his arrest, Webb pleaded guilty to inflicting grievous bodily harm (GBH) and was sentenced at Maidstone Crown Court on September 15.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Paul Oliver said: “This was a particularly nasty attack on a man who previously counted Dee Webb as a friend.
“While he was of previous good character, his actions on this occasion suggest he is a danger to other members of the public and that he belongs behind bars.”
