Four people from Enfield have appeared in court over the Hatton Garden jewellery heist, as a Dartford father and son prepare to enter their pleas.

The Easter weekend raid saw thieves drill a hole 20in deep, 10in high and 18in wide into the vault wall at Hatton Garden Safe Deposit before making off with more than £10 million worth of goods.

Brenn Walters, also known as Ben Perkins, 43, and Laura Perkins, 40, and Terri Robinson, 35, and Steven Robinson, 46, are charged with conspiracy to conceal, disguise, convert or transfer criminal property.

The defendants did not enter pleas during the short hearing at Westminster Magistrates' Court and were released on bail.

They are due to next appear at Woolwich Crown Court on September 4.
