Yesterday's torrential downpours and blustery winds are set to continue today (August 25) with heavy rain predicted all afternoon.

This morning it looks fairly bright and clear until around 1pm when the black clouds and showers are likely to return.

With five hours of rain predicted some areas across south east London and north Kent could be affected by flooding.

Overnight it looks clear with potential outbreaks of rain, some wind and minimum temperatures of 14c.

As the week progresses the miserable weather is scheduled to stay with us until Friday when it may stop just in time for the bank holiday.
