A Dartford jewellery thief has been handed a suspended jail sentence for theft and fraud.
Reece Jones, 22, stole jewellery worth £3,600 from a house in Green Street, Green Road between March 1 and May 9 this year.
He then sold the jewellery on to a shop in The Orchards shopping centre on May 2 and 6, making profits of £136.20.
Jones, who lives on Overy Street, pleaded guilty to theft and two counts of fraud by false representation at Dartford and Gravesham Magistrates Court on Friday (July 30).

Magistrates sentenced Jones to 18 weeks in prison, suspended for 18 months.
He must also pay £136 compensation, a £180 criminal courts charge, £85 costs and an £80 victim surcharge.
