Fire crews were called to a blaze in Borough Green Road yesterday (August 1) when an area of cut grass went up in flames.
Kent Fire and Rescue received the call at around 12.36pm.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet and beaters to put out the blaze which affected a 50 by 50 metre area.
The fire was under control by 1.49pm.
