THEATRE – Tommy at Greenwich Theatre, from Wednesday until August 23
The Who’s rock opera gets a dramatic reworking 40 years after the film. Director Michael Strassen said he ‘wanted to get back to the rawness’ of the original, the tale of a deaf, dumb and blind kid who plays a mean pinball. Go to greenwichtheatre.org.uk
FAMILY – Dig and Discover at Bromley Museum from 2pm to 4pm Wednesday and Thursday, and Tuesday to Thursday
Get stuck in at the museum’s sandpit and find treasure. Other activities include making a 3D lizard or making your own (pretend) poo from the past and then excavating it. Drop in sessions cost £1 per child.
