Police are investigating a video of a 15-year-old girl being attacked by bullies in Dartford after it was shared online by her 'fuming' mother.

The 10-second clip shows the teenager being brutally grabbed, kicked and punched by two other girls.

Bystanders can be heard begging the bullies to stop as the victim falls to the floor.

The girl's furious mother, Sarah Nevard, said: "These two girls one aged 18 had beaten up my 15-year-old daughter and filmed it.

"Humiliating her by burning her hair extensions and laughing about it on snapchat.

"Absolutely fuming."

The attack is believed to have happened in Hesketh Park, Park Road between 5pm and 6pm on July 11 leaving the teenager with a black eye.

The video which has been shared more than 700 times has been downloaded by detectives and is now being investigated, Kent Police have revealed.

A police spokesman said: "Officers are aware of a video, reportedly taken of the incident, circulating on social network sites. This has been viewed and downloaded by detectives.

"Enquiries are on-going at this stage."
