An injured man had to be cut out of his car by fire fighters yesterday (July 6) and was hospitalised, after a one-car crash near Southfleet.
Emergency services were called at 6.35pm to Betsham Road, where a silver VW Golf had flipped.
South East Coast Ambulance (SECAMB) service sent the air ambulance, an ambulance and four paramedic cars to the scene.
A SECAMB spokesman said: "The male patient, a man aged approximately 40-years-old, was treated at the scene - before being taken as a priority to Medway Maritime Hospital with injuries including a suspected head injury.
"The patient was fully conscious on route to hospital."
He was taken to hospital by road.
A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "A man was trapped by his injuries and firefighters removed him on a longboard and gave him into the care of a paramedic."
The road was closed following the incident, and re-opened at 8.30pm.
