The Dartford Crossing is set to be closed overnight for a month for resurfacing work.
Up to three lanes will be closed at any one time on the approach to the Queen Elizabeth II bridge and the bridge itself from July 6 to July 30.
Lanes will be closed between 10pm and 5.30am on Monday to Thursday and between 11pm and 5.30am on Fridays.
Highways England have assured motorists that aT least one lane will be running at all times.

The entry slip road at junction 31 of the M25 will also be closed.
A spokesman for Highways England said: "Road users wishing to join the clockwise M25 at junction 31 will be diverted to the entry slip road at junction 30."
