Two people were hospitalised after a three vehicle collision on the A2 at 7.30am this morning (June 26).

A van and two cars collided on the London-bound carriageway at Dartford, just before the Darenth Interchange.

A South East Coast Ambulance Service spokesman said: "Two patients were taken to Darent Valley Hospital.

"One patient was a woman with abdomen pain.

"They were relatively minor injuries, but needed checking over just to be safe."

Traffic has now returned to normal.

Kent Police also attended.
