The train strike may be off, but planned engineering works are still disrupting journeys with Southeastern this bank holiday Monday (May 25).

The ‘major engineering work’ is part of a Thameslink programme, to improve signalling equipment in east Kent.

Charing Cross, Cannon Street and Waterloo East stations are all closed today, for the third consecutive day.

Here’s how your route is affected by the works:

Woolwich line - Trains between London and Dartford/Gillingham, via Woolwich Arsenal.

Abbey Wood, Belvedere, Erith and Slade Green stations are all CLOSED.

Buses replace trains between Plumstead and Dartford to these stations, with trains running between Dartford and Gillingham.

Bexleyheath line - Trains between London and Dartford, via Bexleyheath.

Trains are running between London Victoria and Dartford via Bexleyheath, with some trains extended to and from Gillingham.

Passengers travelling to or from New Cross or St Johns need to change trains at Lewisham.

Sidcup line – Trains between Dartford and London, via Sidcup.

Connections for London Victoria/London Blackfriars are available at Lewisham.

Bromley South line - Trains between London Victoria and Orpington, via Bromley South.

A reduced service is running between London Victoria and Orpington.
