Artwork by the one and only Bob Dylan is going on display in Bluewater today.
The world famous musician’s work inspired by his South American travels, called The Brazil Series, is on show at Castle Galleries until Saturday, May 30.
It’s no surprise that someone so insightful with his songs has also delved deep into the culture of Brazil in his art.
Steering clear of the nation’s skylines and popular beaches, his work celebrates infamous favelas, bustling markets and the young men of the working class.
Bluewater’s Castle Galleries manager Peter Gilby said: “’The Brazil Series is an interesting and exciting departure from ‘The Drawn Blank Series’, and really does capture Bob Dylan’s strength as an artist first and foremost.
“He paints the unexpected and elusive, elevating an image from a scene viewed as a passing glance or stolen moment to an enduring work of art. It really is an honour to have his work on display at the gallery for people to enjoy.”
Each of the works are certified and signed by Bob Dylan and prints cost £1,250. Go to castlegalleries.com
