All lanes are now open and debris has been cleared following an accident on the M20.

The M20 London bound was down to one lane between J2 and 3, following a multi-vehicle accident at 12.30pm today (April 20).

The accident happened between M25 J3/A20 Swanley Interchange and J2 A20/A227 at Wrotham and the Brands Hatch Circuit.

The collision was close to J2 and involved four vehicles, a Ford, Hyundai, Audi and a Mercedes.

South East Coast Ambulance (SECAMB) took one passenger to Royal University Hospital, after complaints of back pain.

Kent Police and Kent Fire and Rescue also attended, and tere are not thought to be any serious injuries.

The fire service released a man who was trapped in his vehicle and cut him out using hydraulic equipment.

There was debris on the road, and lanes two and three were closed.

Expect delays this afternoon.
