Temperatures of 25°C will hit south east London and north Kent today, as the week's fine weather continues.

The Met Office says it will be a dry, warm and sunny day, with a very warm afternoon in some places.

However, for the rest of the week the weather will be cooler and cloudier, as cloud spreads slowly south across much of the area tonight.

Overnight it will stay mostly dry, although a few isolated rain showers are possible, with a minimum temperature 7°C.

Tomorrow (April 16) will be dry for most with some sunny spells.

Cloud may thicken in places to give a little light rain. It will be cooler, with a maximum temperature of 20°C.

Through Friday and the weekend it will be generally dry with good sunny spells. It will turn chilly through the nights.
