The Queen director Stephen Frears is looking for extras in London for his new movie.

Frears, who also directed High Fidelity, has again linked with the production team who made his true-life story Philomena on a feature about the extraordinary life of New York operatic singer Florence Foster Jenkins.

Arguably the world’s greatest living actress Meryl Streep is in line to play Jenkins, who was famous for being a terrible singer. Hugh Grant is also set to star in the movie.

Men and women of all ages over 16 are wanted as extras, shooting in London throughout May, June and July 2015.

The work is paid and you don’t need any experience. The open casting is on Saturday, April 11, at St Paul’s Church in Queen Caroline Street, Hammersmith. Turn up any time between 10am and 5pm.
