Lorry and car crash closes Dartford Tunnel
There are delays at the Dartford Tunnel this afternoon (March 25) after a crash involving a lorry and a car.
The tunnel was closed due to incident, which happened on the M25 anticlockwise, with congestion as far as juntion 1b of the A282 and the A296 Princes Road.
Emergency services were called to the scene, on the Essex side of the river, and traffic was held at the tunnel entrance.
An Essex Police spokesman said the crash involved minor injuries.
