The Brent has re-opened following a collision earlier today (March 4).
An air ambulance was called to Brent Primary School, after a boy was hit by a car near the school.
The boy has been taken to hospital, but it is thought his injuries are not life-threatening.
A Kent Police spokeswoman said: "Kent Police is at the scene of a road traffic collision at The Brent in Dartford. We were called at 2:20pm.
"The collision involved a boy and a car.
"The road is closed from St Vincent to Lingfield Avenue."
The police could not confirm the age of the boy, or whether he is a pupil at The Brent Primary School down the road.
A Kent Air Ambulance spokeswoman said: "We responded at 2:28 this afternoon to a road traffic collision."
