1. Police say a huge fire which ripped through a warehouse in Erith in the early hours of Saturday morning is being treated as suspicious.

Witnesses reported hearing several loud explosions and captured video footage showing plumes of smoke billowing into the sky above tall, bright flames.

2. Police raided the New Cross sex cinema on Thursday afternoon, finding 10 people inside and quizzing the venue's manager.

Last week, News Shopper exposed the old printing shop on New Cross Road as an unlicensed venue showing hardcore pornography where eager punters paid £15 a time to watch explict films and have sex with in the auditorium.

3. Bexley Council published a list of the 27 plots of land it is considering selling off, which includes 10 opens space and 17 areas of highway land, on Friday.

News Shopper revealed campaigners’ fury last week about the plan as rumours circulated that Danson Park could be in for the chop.

4. Frustrated residents, councillors and a Bromley MP have joined forces in a fight against plans to build a school on a treasured local park.

But 72 per cent of people who have currently voted in News Shopper’s poll believe it doesn’t matter where the school is built as long as it helps meet demand for school places.

5. Thirsty Thursday took a turn for the worse when a Kent city worker found himself trapped on an abandoned train after falling asleep on his way home.

Conor Watts, of Gillingham, had a nasty shock when he woke up in Dartford train depot in the early hours of Friday morning.
