Severe delays on the Dartford Tunnel
Severe delays are affecting the Dartford Tunnel today (Jan 28).
Overnight works over-ran on the tunnel anticlockwise between J1A A206 / B3228 (Erith / Swanscombe) and J31 A1306 (West Thurrock) with congestion on M25 to J4 A21 / A224 (Orpington).
The left-hand tunnel was closed until 08.40am but all lanes have now been re-opened.
Travel time is thought to be around an hour.
