A man has suffered 'potentially serious injuries' after his car hit the central reservation and overturned on the M20 near Swanley.
Kent Police were called at 2.20pm to the London-bound carriageway, between junction three at Brands Hatch and junction two at the Swanley Interchange when a 4x4 with a trailer overturned.
The male driver of the car was cut free from the wreckage by Kent Fire and Rescue crews after becoming trapped by his injuries.
South East Coast Ambulance (SECAMB) paramedics, two Hazard Response Teams (HART) and Kent Air Ambulance crews attended to the patient.
He was taken to Kings College Hospital with 'potentially serious' leg injuries.
The road was closed temporarily to allow Kent Air Ambulance to land.
Lanes one and two are currently closed.
Lane three was re-opened at 3.30pm but delays are expected.
