A man has been rushed to hospital after a car flipped over on to its roof on the A2 eastbound near Darenth this morning (Dec 19).
The South East Coast Ambulance (SECAmb) and Highways Agency both rushed to the scene at around 11.45am.
The Highways Agency said they have opened two of the four lanes available and removed the vehicle.
Delays are thought to be continuing back to the M25.
A SECAmb spokesman said: "Our crews were called 11.45am to reports of a car overturned on the A2 at Bean.
"One ambulance was sent to the scene and crews treated a patient suffering lower back injuries before taking them to Medway Maritime Hospital."

Fifteen minutes later they tweeted: "We have opened 2 lanes of the 4 available on the #A2 #Darenth/#Bean in #Kent. Vehicle removed. Just tidying up. Delays back to #M25."
