The Dartford Tunnel has been shut following a five-vehicle crash on the M25 in Essex.
The crash, which involved three HGV lorries, a Volkswagon Golf and Peugeot 206, happened at 11.35am today (October 24).
One motorist is being treated by paramedics for non-life threatening injuries.
Essex police have closed the road between the exit from the Dartford Tunnel on the anti-clockwise M25 and Junction 30
Motorists are advised to use a different route to avoid long queues at the Dartford Tunnel.
A spokesman for Essex police said: "We would like to thank motorists for the patience and hope that the road will be reopened soon."
