A Game of Thrones star is set to swap the swords and sex for quaint Irish comedy when he directs a multi-award winning show in Dartford, Bromley and Croydon this month.

Ian McElhinney, who plays Ser Barristan Selmy in the HBO smash hit, is directing the nationwide tour of Stones in His Pockets.

It comes to Croydon’s Fairfield Halls on October 17, The Churchill Theatre in Bromley on October 20 and The Orchard Theatre in Bromley on October 29.

Seen by more than two million people in the West End and on Broadway, the show tells the funny and moving story of a small Irish community disrupted by the arrival of a massive Hollywood movie shoot.

Conor Delaney, whose credits also include Game of Thrones, and Stephen Jones (Ripper Street) play 15 characters between them.
