Planned engineering works across the Southeastern rail network are causing chaos across News Shopper's patch today.

There are no train services calling at Chislehurst or Elmstead Woods until September 15 at 4am- replacement bus services are operating in each direction between Grove Park, Petts Wood and Orpington.

There are no train services calling at Abbey Wood, Belvedere, Erith or Slade Green - replacement bus services are operating in each direction between Plumstead and Dartford until 2am tomorrow.

The London Charing Cross/Gillingham services are being diverted between Blackheath and Dartford and will call additionally at Eltham and Bexleyheath.

And there are no train services operating between Blackheath and Charlton.

A spokesman for Southeastern said: "Passengers who wish to make this journey can do so via the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) between Lewisham and Greenwich.

"Valid train tickets will be accepted for travel on the DLR in either direction between Lewisham and Greenwich."

Travellers have taken to Twitter to voice their anger at the delays to their journeys.

Nick Whiting (@NickWhiting90) said: "Why would the train leave the station before the bus replacement service gives the passengers a chance to get on it? @Se_Railway"

And @Lizhalps added: "Hi @Se_Railway remember me? Third day in a row you've mucked my journey up to the hospital."
