A man from Dartford and a woman from Sidcup have denied allegations they caused "serious physical harm" to a three-year-old boy.
Gregory Dassrath, 33, of Ribblesdale Road, Dartford, and Catherine Garrard, 39, of Longmeadow Road, Sidcup, appeared at Inner London Crown Court on Friday (September 5).
They both pleaded not guilty to one charge of allowing the child to suffer serious physical harm between September 22 and 28 last year.
The boy cannot be named for legal reasons.
Dassrath and Garrard are on conditional bail and a five-day trial has been set to start on March 16 next year at Inner London Crown Court.
