Kent Police joined forces with Bluewater Shopping Centre for a community fun day where officers attempted to break a tractor-tyre flip world record.
The event on Saturday (August 30) featured live music, entertainment, stalls and games with proceeds going to Gravesend-based EllenorLions hospice as well as the Teenage Cancer Trust and Cancer Research UK.
Mayor of Dartford Councillor Avtar Sandhu drew the raffle in the open air car park in the shopping centre, where prizes included a Triumph Daytona 675 motorcycle.
Kent Police officers also attempted to break a world record by taking it in turns to flip a tractor tyre over a 10-metre course, as many times as possible over the course of the day.
Sergeant Paul Squire, from the Dartford Community Safety Unit, said: “Everything about the day was fantastic, especially the support we received from the public.
“We met with lots of people throughout the course of the event and there was a real feel-good atmosphere with lots of entertainment and fun for all the family.
“I'm really proud of my colleagues and everyone else for helping to make the day such a huge success. They demonstrated true team spirit and we're all delighted.”
Dartford MP Gareth Johnson and Dartford Council leader Councillor Jeremy Kite attended along with representatives from the Kent Fire and Rescue Service, the North West Kent Crime Prevention Panel.
