A Longfield woman has been given a 12-week suspended prison sentence and disqualified from driving for 36 months after being caught drink driving.

Nancy MacCready, 37, of Perran Close, Hartley, was stopped by police driving along Watling Street in Dartford on February 11 this year.

When police gave her a breath test they found her to have 124 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath- the legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

She appeared at Dartford Magistrates on March 13 and was also given a six month curfew to remain at home between 7pm and 7am daily.

The curfew runs until 12 September 2014. She must also pay £85 costs and an £80 victim surcharge.

Disqualification can be reduced by nine months if, by 11 April 2016, she satisfactorily completes a course approved by the Secretary of State, the cost of which will not exceed £250.
