BURGLARS in Swanley stole four sets of car keys and three vehicles in the same night – with one BMW later found burnt out.
The theft of the car from a burgled home in Haven Close happened between 2am and 2.30am Thursday morning (February 7) and it was later found on the outskirts of London having been set on fire.
At 3am the same night, two cars were stolen after burglars broke in to a house and took two sets of keys in Cranleigh Drive.
The missing cars are a silver Audi A5 and a grey Hyundai i30.
Between 1.30am and 3.45am, a set of car keys belonging to a 21-year-old man were removed from a house in Waylands.
Inspector Adam Jones of the Swanley-based Sevenoaks District Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: "All too often we hear of keys left on tables or near windows.
"In some instances, though not necessarily in these cases, thieves have managed to use coat-hooks and things to get keys without even forcing entry."
