Baby memorial service to be held at Darent Valley Hospital

A SERVICE is to take place at Darent Valley Hospital for parents who have lost a baby during pregnancy or childbirth.

The baby memorial service will give the opportunity to remember their loved one by lighting a candle, releasing a balloon, having their name read out and placing their name on a memorial tree.

It is taking place in the Philip Farrant Centre Level 1 at 3pm on Sunday, March 3.

Afterwards there will be a chance to meet other parents and the hospital’s midwife who is also a psychotherapist.
