Man cut free from van following early morning Dartford crash

A MAN was cut free from his van following a crash in Dartford this morning.

Emergency services were called to Watling Street at 5:27am to reports of a crash involving a van.

The road was closed between Lingfield Avenue and Hill House while firefighters from Dartford used hydraulic rescue equipment to cut the man from his vehicle.

He was then taken to hospital by ambulance.

Firefighters left the scene at 6:19am.
