A PENSIONER has been fined £250 for failing to tidy up the gardens of a property he owns in Meopham.
Henry Robinson, aged 68, of Waltham Close in Dartford, pleaded guilty to failing to comply with a notice served by Gravesham Council.
The notice, which was served under the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, required him to tidy up the front and rear gardens and carry out work on the building in Mulberry Close.
Appearing at Dartford Magistrates Court on November 29, Robinson was also ordered to pay £250 costs.
He faces the possibility of further prosecution if the work is not carried out.
